Michelle graduated from IU Bloomington with a B.A. in English.  She earned her law degree, cum laude, from the IU Robert H. McKinney School of Law in May 2015. 

Immediately prior to co-founding Lekse Harter, Michelle served as Senior Legal Advisor to Justice Steven H. David of the Indiana Supreme Court for almost seven years.  

She is admitted to the bar in both Indiana and New Jersey. She is also admitted to the U.S. Supreme Court bar. She previously taught at the IU McKinney School of Law school and UIndy. 

Michelle is a member of the Indiana Bar Association (graduate of the Bar Leadership Academy - class 6). She is also a member of the Indianapolis Bar Association and is on the Litigation Section and Appellate Practice Section Executive Committees.

Michelle is a member of St. Francis and Clare of Assisi Catholic Church.  She is married and has 5 children. 

Michelle's practice focuses on general civil litigation, election law, and appellate advocacy.  Michelle also does estate planning and administration.
